I don’t know about you, but going to Italy has always been a life-long vision of mine. Nevertheless, of large worry to me (and other travelers visiting Italy) is how to get around this beautiful but unknown region. For example, if cars are coming from a part of the Italy’s European Union, they can be easily imported into Italy if they’ve been driven for six thousand kilometers and are over 6 months old. If you’re from another country, the car has to be at least one year old.

Although several might complete the work for you, most require that you prepare your car for the shipping, including draining most of the fuel, removing private items and making certain the motorcar is in good condition.

Be prepared to demonstrate your driver’s license and proof of identification. Make sure you have insurance to protect your automobile from the time it reaches its destination.
