This is critical to do, as in up to 9 out of 10 cases, the credit report will have mistakes that negatively effect credit. As a credit repair business you will be reading your clients credit reports trying to detect errors that are negatively impacting his credit.

Step 2
Go through the documents very carefully and identify all the information that is entered wrongly. Be on the lookout for unpaid loans your client believes may not be his. This should be a red flag alerting you to possible identity theft.  Often these will be in low to moderate amounts, the reasoning being that the thief has tried to avoid raising any red flags. While the thieves make money, the victim is left with  negative entries and a bad credit score.

Step 3
Dispute mistakes by mailing the credit bureaus asking that the errors be corrected. If you believe there has been identity theft, inform the police ASAP; it will also absolve your client from responsibility to a certain extent.

You will profit in your business based on your success as an intermediary between the bureaus and your client. Most people hire a credit repair business because they feel intimidated by the process of fixing their credit. Therefore, in order to be sought after the interest of your clients must always be your first priority. Doing so is the number one way to guarantee the success of your business.

Step 4
Get a hold of a good credit repair software to streamline your work and save you time. Work smartly, as this will bring in more business and therefore you will earn higher profits. However, do not rely on your software alone; no machine is a substitute for human judgment.

Step 5
Promote your credit repair business actively both online and offline. Offer freebies to potential clients, as a means of generating interest in your business – such as counseling, consultations, free credit report assessment, high quality information, and the like. Just always keep uppermost in your mind that your client’s interests is your first priority. Do this, and making money in your business will not seem all that difficult.

Start out by helping out family and friends, and do your best to do an exceptional job! They will reward you with recommendations to others and a wealth of new leads. To get your business rolling right off the bat offer your services for a discounted price for a limited period; and make sure your to give your best effort, so those that take you up on your offer will send you more business through referrals.

And once again, if you wish to make money do all you can to please your clients. The profits will come. And lastly, never be greedy with the fees, make promises on which you cannot deliver, or step outside the law, however tempting and profitable that may seem to be.
